Speaking of berries, I remember as a kid picking Saskatoon berries in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Have you ever had those?Your right about raspberries, they are impossibly delicate.
Can't recall having had Saskatoon berries, but I grew up in Barrie, Ont., where no berries grow. My favourite are mullberries.
