Cooking with Rock-steady

With the Holiday season approaching, I wanted to share a recipe with all of you known as Jedi Beer Bread. It is quite easy and it will not only satisfy your taste buds but will also wow your guests.

(1) 12 oz bottle of beer of your choice
(3) Cups of self-rising flour
(1) Stick of butter
(1/2) Cup of white sugar

Mix beer, flour and sugar into a bowl. Mix it until you have dough then transfer dough into a baking pan. Make sure to use some none-stick spray prior to placing dough into the pan.

Set some Jedi to guard the dough while the oven heats.

Bake the beer bread dough at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Pour a melted stick of butter over the Jedi Beer Bread and bake for another 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Let the Jedi Beer Bread sit for 10 minutes and it is ready to serve. May the Force be with You and Your oven!

I always thought of Yoda as a teatotaller, but I suspect that Mace Windu and Qui-Gon Ginn imbibed upon occasion.

May the Force be--"burp"--With You!

I knew Qui-Gon, and that guy hit liquor HARD, at least from time to time. "Chosen one" indeed.

I resent that comment! Watch the "hic" films "hic-urp", and you're gonna see...."hic" all's I drink is "hic" blue milk!! Row-bow-shurrrrB!

And he WAS the "hic" chosen one. Jus got messss'd up sss'all!

I don't know about the oil smell, but it's very important to get a daily supply of vitamins and iron from eating potatoes. And don't think that eating Mr. Potato Head (or Mrs. Potato Head) is gonna work. Plastic contains no nutrients, although is does mold itself into interesting coffe-carrying vessels.

I hope you never retire.

I'm on a wheat-free diet these days (pro-skatebaorder stuff). But I coud see this recipe working with spelt flour or something.

Looking very forward to more pics and posts!
